Welcome to the
Society of Fellows’ Oral History Project. The SOF has for several
years been conducting a series of interviews with fellows in order
to capture for posterity what Academy life was like 50, 25, and even
10 years ago and the impact their time in Rome had on the fellows.
Here you will find transcripts of the oral histories kept in the
American Academy archives in New York. Our goal is to eventually
share them all with you here. Please let us know what you think.
